The Map & Globe Exchange was started in 1993. It was a hobby business with the intention of selling, buying and trading antique maps and globes. Meeting people who are like minded "map nuts" is a bonus. For 10 years we were located on the second floor of a renovated historic building on the main street of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. We moved to our current location nestled in the historic riverfront of Sheboygan in 2003. By adding our website we are simply adding more windows for the world to look in.

Maps are tools to see the world environments and cultures. Maps are also works of art. The map gallery seeks to present the earth in all realism and fullest beauty. For all of us at the Map and Globe exchange it's a daily joy to be surrounded by maps and to meet people who have the same perspective and interest.
